It will be skewed, and it all depends on the size of the yards, type of equipment used, and distance between jobs.

I do 8-9 a day but in the spring and fall its about 12 a day.

yup depends on size, equipment, etc. On one day, we only mow 10 properties. But they are acreage. One other days, we are banging out 1/4 acre resi's left and right.

here's what we do in hooterville

we mow 48 yards tues. thru fri. of these 48, 28 are full-service with all getting full applications and fall programs as well. some get everything from mulch to weeding. we have 23 non-mowing customers that get only the apps and the fall program. we do the other things on mondays which right now are open till the 1st week of august. then i have start working longer hours and saturdays like in the spring. it's just myself and my 21 year old daughter who has been working full-time since february. most of my yards average about 10000 sq/ft. oh yea, make that 47 lawns.

Seems like what is everyone's gross mowing sales for a day would be more useful.

Well I am sure that might lead to a little more chatter especially following the thread of low balling... but the thread is How Many Yards with and without a crew

All in All if I mowed everyone each week I could potentially do $30,163 a season which is why the amount per day wouldnt really help.

you can't compare anything here unless it's your area. ex. mastermower can do 901 yards a week. he can't do that many of mine. mastermower makes this much $$$ a week. there again, two different scenarios. it doesn't matter what we do or make. it's your deal. 10 to 17 for me is great. there again 10 to 17 ain't crap to mastermower. understand where i'm coming from ?

very very true steve there are so many diff. with the diff. states people leave in and the climates, types of grasses, the market in general. someone say in your area might be able to charge for example $100 an hour to prune shrubs where in my market it will only bare $60 an hour. mowing will be diff. as well. to many variables to compare things like that. what i call sucessfull in my market could be chump change to someone else in a diff. market.
