  • ex customers seeking revenge .......

I was talking to a mate about how to best go about dropping customers, conversation turn to customers that went crazy when dropped, after one bloke was told that my friend was "down sizing" (and it was true in fact) my mate went away for a long weekend and came back to 80 missed calls and lots of nasty messages from this guy ranting and raving, a year later my friend was shopping with the family and this bloke followed themfor an hour and confronted my friend in the car park,,accusing him of mowing a lawn 2 streets away and why not his etc.

It seems some people take it real hard when "let go" anybody got a vengeful ex customer story ?

"A bit south of you" is a tad bit understated!!

I have nothing as extreme, but I have had a customer put a fine point on veiled threats like telling us that when they lived in XYZ location before moving to their present location, they took out full page ads in the local newspaper regarding the bad customer service provided by "Some Poor A$$ Contractor & Sons". That's a big motivator to make sure all T's are crossed and all I's are dotted.
