It's been fairly dry here. I was hoping for rain as it was forecasted but it blew over us. We are having some good wind right now to dry up my plants and trees in holding though.

i hear ya stevo. Mowing scheduling is a *****, but I've been getting it done. People for the landscape work are like, why haven't you been here yet. I've said, 'didn't you see the rain? You'd ***** if I was there in the torrential downpours working on your property, yet expect me to work at other people's in the rain so I can be at your place when its dry?' ****ing people. We had 1.5 inches Friday, and are supposed to get almost another two, tonight through tomorrow.

To add to this, just got off the phone w/ a guy. Did a decent sized job for about 3 weeks, but still have a little to go (some seeding and shrubbery planting). Haven't been able to get there because of the complete rain out days and reschuedling mowing. He said I should be ruining peoples lawns (mowing in the rain w/ STANDING water in the lawns, which I told him, but apparently I should be pissing off all my reliable lawn customers, and not him a one time job) and going to his place when its nice out. I wanted to drive over to the guys house and punch him in his ****ing face while he was *****ing over the phone, hes been a pain in the ass to deal w/ the whole time and I knew it before I even started the job. He told me I should've been there today, on Mother's day, and to **** my whole family. I almost went overboard w/ that. I've been so pissed this whole spring, everybody's been jumping down my throat (most of the time for stuff that is their fault or out of anybody's control). been wondering sometimes if this is my last year doing this, don't know how much more of this I can take

Trust your instincts my friend. Some people just don't get it. They don't have a clue about this business and they think they are your only customer.

More rain only means more time to spend with me.

We mowed in the rain Thursday-Saturday. Then 2 guys went out on Sunday to knock out 3 other lawns.......rained again.
