    Lazy azz Monday

For once it didn't rain on Monday.

Truth to be told, I didn't get out of bed until 9:30AM, payed a bill or two, watered da plantz at mi casa, sharpened 5 blades, trip to c-store & didn't start mowing till 11AM. Wasn't back home until 8:45PM though.

    Mowed 18 lawns, fertilized 4.

    Lawn 1: 4kSF
    Lawn 2: 8kSF
    Lawn 3: 7kSF (fertilized)
    Lawn 4: 7kSF (fertilized)
    Lawn 5: 8kSF
    Lawn 6: 4kSF
    Lawn 7: 6kSF
    Lawn 8: 22kSF
    Lawn 9: 43kSF
Lawn 10: 31kSF (old man wouldn't shut up about his "28cc Craftsman 17inch weed wacker" he bought on sale & it's problem with vapor lock - added 15 minutes of needless time to my day, NOT ELMO philosophy)
    Lawn 11: 6kSF
    Lawn 12: 8kSF
    Lawn 13: 6kSF
    Lawn 14: 5kSF (fertilized)
    Lawn 15: 15kSF
    Lawn 16: 7kSF
    Lawn 17: 17kSF
    Lawn 18: 2kSF
    Lawn 19: Fertilized only, 18kSF
    ---------------------------
    Gross for the day $721.oo

Tomorrow, catch-up day with other krap. Fungicide applications, shrub prunings, couple quikpro apps...3 mows I didn't get in today...maybe a poison ivy app...etc etc. Fun day.

No wonder you can get so many lawns done. I have customers with houses bigger than some of these yards.

Guys, this doesn't even make sense. Gross of 720 on 19 props averages about $35. Several of those yards are over 20K! Now unless he's cutting the small ones for $15 each that doesn't even begin to track.

            Bogus bogus bogus.

Now can you do the same? I'm doubting it, but I'm writing a book so you daydreamers can.

Back to the subject at hand......why can't you cut a meager 15 lawns in a single 8 hour day? If you can't....you ought to re-think how you're going about the mowing deal. If I where you I've have quit a long while back.

PS: 28 is the record I believe, not 30 as you're leading your audience on to believe.

It's all a mystery to most y'all. One is priced at $20, but only b/c I'm already next door and it's 5 minutes of work. But it appears I forgot to add in the fert costs.

                      Mowed 3 lawns Tuesday....

Butt also some fungicide and quikpro apps, not to exclude extensive shrub pruning either.

Easy day, 10-7:30, but I'm loosing my self-discipline (evidenced by the later starting times this week). There likely will not be another $5k week until fall. Oh well, but I did enjoy a big steak after work......took the Mrs. on a "date." :alien:
