  • In the spring, we used to complain

about all of the scrubs invading our work place, but now we talk about the weather!

Mastermower has a couple of threads about rain and Mr No Brown Lawn loves the rain and Delasgh hates the damn rain

This is kinda like a slow news day when reporters tell us what the president ate.

It's been a crap shoot this year for me. Good one week, bad the next, and the next, and so on..............................! But, I love where I live. Green all year long, lakes to swim and rivers to fish. Mountains to climb, cave to explore................and tornatos to dodge! But, what a show!

I wasn't that close Sad though nevertheless.
We got one several year ago though................the town accross the river lost one. My wife and I heard what sounded like a train. Got the hail, wind, rain, but that was it!
We went into town to check it out but, some parts where blocked off by state police.

It wasn't until the next morning until you could visually see the distruction. The job I worked at the time got hit. My then boss loss one of his newly purchased building. We did a lot of clean up then when back to work the best we could.

There minimal traces of it anymore. Life go on.

Yeh, we've have a decent amount of rain here as well. And for whatever reason, every seed pod, and every weed has decided to grow like mad also.

To top that off, it got near records high temps about 2 weeks ago which caused the grass to start seeding itself early.

Makes for a pretty rough lawn.

Been working every minute it's not raining. Still too days behind. We had 3.5 inches of rain in 2 hours, flash flooding everywhere.

Everything I cut today was going to seed and full of clover, mowed like cabbage.

                          David,
Have you had your woolie-burger latetly?
                          Or,
Do they even sell them anymore?
Coming across the State my first time ever leaving Calley, age 17, I stayed in Barnstall.
                          What a time!
