  • Can College Boy Really Do 84 Lawns In One Week?????

i got some of my #'s to throw in the mix. first off, i'm alot older than college boy so i'm sure he can bust more than me in a day, second, i don't try to kill myself and i don't. these were typical mowing days last year for me solo. leave house at 815am, mow on average 13 lawns, average gross revenue $503, and return home at 500pm and that included beer and gas on the way in. that's with an average of 28 total miles round trip for four days a week. that included mowing, trimming, and blowing off hard surfaces. i used mondays last season for all the other stuff i do. could i have done 84 in a week solo? with longer hours, sure i could have. do i want to? hell no. go get them college boy.

First off, and I know you know this, it's not how many you mow, it's how much you make. You make more per lawn than I do. Your daily numbers ain't too far from mine for mowing. Your lawns are priced higher than mine. Mine range from $25-80. Rooster is gonna start crowing because he can't hit $500 in a day, so he thinks you shouldn't be either.

But yeah, I certainly bust ass, but not on the verge of killing myself.

this busten ass thing MM could be more true than some think or know. i have not clue how hard he works, if he's even telling the truth or not.

i know my work ethic and how hard i work. i certainly could do as many in a day's time as MM does. i work hard but i try to never over exert myself. i work all day long at a comfortable pace for me. sure i bust a sweat but if i get winded and need to stop and get a drink i will do so even in the middle of working. that only usually happens on 85+ degree days though. i might run the string trimmer then stop for a drink of water or mow the front yard and get a drink before i head to the back. i keep myself comfortable is the point.

From his past postings, other nic's he has used here, his rants and
his two meltdowns, (or was it 3 ?) one would be wise to take most of his posting with a grain of salt.

Yeah, I puzzy foot around town every day. I'm lucky to get a couple lawns in each day. Me house is in the process of foreclosure. Life just sucks. Wish I was as cool as you boys. Guess it's time to accept the fact I don't cut the mustard...time to go back to school to get my foot in a different field.

            - A thoroughly embarrassed MM

I see you pulled that one of one-page book of comebacks, further proving my point. I think you've used that line several times already. Think damn-it, think. We need more players here.
