  • The Chinese take on a stand-on mower

And all for under $3000, direct to your door. They shouldn't even get a patent for this joke --- I might as well cut up my walk behinds and sulkies and do a little welding --- WHAM-MO! Stand-on mower! :alien::alien::alien:

we are using them and they aint a real joke actually a great mower for the $$$ it is a heavey mower and the factory can do other engine options if you ask when buying them ......... we got kohler courage engines and true they are not heavey commercial engines BUT for 2400. at our cost plus tax it was worth the pick up ...they are stamped in china but use quality parts, most of the parts is the 1996 scag parts!!!!! we were told by the company that its a 96 scag when we need parts to call scag

Yes, they are composed of generic parts, not fancy. Saying their Scag might be a stretch. I seriously doubt they are OEM Scag parts, just aftermarket crap from China.

Why downgrade to a Courage engine? That just doesn't make any sense. You're mowing commercially. Why use a cruddy engine? They aren;t the least bit a commercial engine. Did you research the Courage engine first? I haven't read too much positive about them.

What is the ground speed of this contraption? Just from the pictures you can tell it's nothing more than a commercial walk-behind mower with the handles hacked and re-configured to account for the riding platform. Then they mate their "swivel-wheel sulky" (again, with a few modifications), to the power unit. Crude design.....something I could have done in a day with the junk I have laying around. With the same ground speed of a walk-behind, you might as well have saved your money and bought a walk-behind and the same "swivel wheel sulky". All you gain with this concraption is a tighter turning radius.

I would have figured someone with 1001 locations as you would be a little more fugal with your equipment purchases. :alien::alien::alien:
