Kawasaki or Kohler?

I am looking to purchase a new Exmark Turf Tracer walk behind mower.

I have a choice of either a 24HP Kawasaki V Twin motor or a 20HP Kohler Command motor.

Anyone have an oppinion on which maybe a better motor.

Most people prefer the Kawasaki. I've had good luck with Kawasaki engines myself. That said, I haven't had many problems with Kohler engines either. If it come down to it, I'd opt for a Kawasaki.

I have 19Hp Kawasaki with approx 1400-1500 hrs. Burns a little oil now, but runs strong yet...just replaced the starter last fall, that's all. Another 23HP Kaw with 1200 hrs, runs like new (I feel anyway). I use Mobil 1 for all oil changes and aftermarket air filters.

3 eXmarks, 3 kawasakis. no real problems here in hooterville. never had a kohler so can't knock it. there are lemons in everything..........
