When Does Mowing Season Begin??

Last year was my first season of mowing and I started in late May. I was wondering when every one starts their mowing season especially the guys in the Mid-West area. Also when does every one end their mowing to begin doing fall cleanups. Last year I think I stop mowing a little early.

I live in North Central Oklahoma. We have already begun our spring cleanups and plan to start our regular mowing route (Bermuda lawns) the 3rd. week of April except for Fescue. Those we start mid March. Bermuda lawns might be a little earlier if weather stays unseasonably warm.

Just cut my lawn back today with the Walker. Gonna start with the customers this week. We're about 2 weeks ahead of normal due to the mild winter. :alien::alien::alien:

We never stoped mowing and doing cleanups this year. Usually we have a slow down from Jan.1st through February 15th

i'll start in two more weeks and probably could start now due to the mild winter we had although yesterday we had snow and cold temps but the grass is still high plus all my yards got blasted last week with pre-em and fert so they should really kick in now..

Mowing season starts in May.

Mowing season end it when the leaves become a load, and make you work more for the same income avoid it!

Fall cleanups-When mowing season ends, and there are leaves to take away, generally two weeks after you stop mowing.

we are starting to see that summer heat this year already . Its nearly 5 weeks early . across the state my crews are seeing alot of lawns going into 10 day cuts and a few stressed and turnning brown after we went most of a month without rain. I hope the rian we are getting now covers the state but i doubt it . Some of my crews may start 2 week services after next week if the heat continues. 90 -95 degrees with no rain tends to slow things down.
