  • Got A Letter From Tru-green Today....

i know it was a form letter but it was addressed to me and my business. they offered to do a free evaluation of my lawn and also gave me a spin on making my life easier by doing my customers lawns....hello, 50% of my customers had those idiots. my biggest $$$ maker at this point is fixing lawns that these big azz companys screwed up.

Return the mailing from them along with a letter from you. :alien::alien::alien:

    Dear TruGreen,

I appreciate your offer for a free evaluation of my lawn. As you already know, I own Hillbilly Fert & Squirt. I'm more than capable of evaluating my own lawn (for free as well). Furthermore, while I appreciate your offer of making my life easier by performing my own application work as a sub-contractor, I must decline.

Through my own research, I have found one-half of my current lawn application customers are former customers of yours. Each have their own reason why they switched from TruGreen to Hillbilly Fert & Squirt. However, the majority have indicated they were just tired of paying TruGreen to make their lawn look like complete ****. So I ask, why should I be enticed to sub-contract my application work to TruGreen when TruGreen cannot satisfactorily perform their own?

In closing, I cannot thank you enough. It's quite obvious we have an established beneficial relationship. As mentioned, much of my current work is credited to you. I am returning the mail piece you sent me for your re-use. I realize the more mailings you send, the more clients I will obtain in the future. Keep up the work and I'll continue to thank you in the future.

    Sincerely,
    Steve-O

a few seasons back we had close to 300 customers turn advertisments of their`s over to us to recieve their services from a company who could actually provide the services they claimed to be offering so i know the big companies are messing over alot of folk.

He claims his company provides the services they claim to offer, unlike TruGreen, hence why all his customers turned the advertisements over to him.

At least that's the way I read it. :alien::alien::alien:
