im 14 and im getting a job doing lawn service this summer. how much should i charge for cutting the grass and should i add extra for weed cutting or other things?

Do a search on this site of what to charge in New Jersey. I presume your overhead costs are going to be zilch because you live at home, so you only have to cover whatever you need for a wage, gas, equipment costs, repairs, office time, etc.
I presume you won't have liability insurance or compensation insurance?
How large are the properties? What type of equipment are you using? How are you going to transport it between your customers?
I can get 35 dollars a week for a 2000 square foot property (with a house on it) using a 21 inch rear wheel drive-rear bagging mower, a line trimmer and blower.
But I'm in Vancouver, Canada. I've seen guys with big ride-ons doing an acre for the same price or lower on some of these chat boards.
Just don't low ball. Be fair to yourself and the other landscapers. This is hard work. Wear your safety gear while you work.
