Now this Was a Random Survey Taken at the Home Page of Lawnservicing.com & at the Forum Also! So Not All Forum Members were Involved in this, But it Must be Close. I'm Still Learning about Polls & Surveys!

Please, I'm Not Trying to Start Something here but...
Now What Gets Me is? If You Take these Numbers & Work Percentages Against the Number of Members Represented in this Forum. Now if I Run More Numbers a Little on the Rough Side...

About 50% of the Females Took the Survey & Less than 15% of the Males Took the Survey? Why is this? Shoot if I Know?

If I saw the Survey, I Personally Would have Taken it for Only 1 Reason, Just So I Could See the Results! I Must know this Stuff!

Like I Say & Preach all the Time a Lot Can be Learned from the Poll - Surveys Taken.

I Feel it's Most Important to Take the Survey First!
I Also Feel it's Important to Look at & Try to Learn from the Results - Details of Poll - Surveys taken about our Industry!

The Details & Results of the Poll - Survey are Accurate & Not Tampered With, TRUST ME. Because there is No Way I Could have Ever Came up with Any Of these Results. I Personally Would Not Have Believed the Results Anyway if I Viewed them Anywhere Else!

I Want to Thank all the Ladies Out there that Participated! And MEN, I Ask You the Next Time that You See a Survey, Please Take 3 to 5 Minutes of Your Time & TAKE IT!!!!!

I Think We Have a Member here, Maybe Mr. Brown (I Think?) Maybe You Could Tell Me a Little Bit More about this or Maybe Point Me in the Right Direction of How I Could Do a Better Job on these Poll - Surveys? I'll Listen to Any Input From Anybody on this!

I agree with you Sammy, it is hard to believe, but I have talked to people here in this area that want to mow for some extra cash. When I bring up the subject of insurance and license they are supprised. They do not know that they could loose everything if someting happened.

As a matter of fact I will be adding another $500,000.00 liability insurance when it is time to renew. $75.00 a year for this additional coverage is worth it to me.

I answered no to the question because although I am insured, I am not required to be licensed as I presently do not do apps that require licensing or irrigation installs (we do not need a general business license for lawncare in my area). I will be remedying both of those deficiencies this fall by obtaining my pesticide and irrigation licenses. Since this particular question stated both, I had to answer no. GrassMaster, I would be happy to read over and make suggestions for future polls.

On edit: I obviously read the question wrong and therefore answered it incorrectly. The question was well phrased for the poll. I must claim this as a pre-senior moment.

WES, no matter your age, you can get a business ID which will allow you to pay taxes and get liability insurance for your biz. Believe me, I've been there.
