  • anyone from New Jersey?

I live in Edison and just started the business. I have all brand new equipment and, a used truck . My company name is Lucky Landscaping and I was looking for advice and opinion for working in this highly competitive area.

sort of ironic - I am in Basking Ridge, NJ and need some basic yard work - completion of Mulch beds and lawn mowing. none of the services in my area even return my messages. too bad you are all the way in Edison.

I'm in Camden County over here, a small town called Atco. I wonder if anyone on the board operates around here, for such a small town I sure see a large amount of companies hitting the strip.

                    Take care guys.

                        Sharpster,
I used to race at Atco raceway every Friday night with my 1970 Buick GSX 455 Stage 1.

Bought my trailer at Franklin Trailers in Berlin.

I'm from Cinnaminson. A newbie competing with some big companies around my way. Competion is tough! Sometimes you wonder why you get into this profession and then see all the homeowners pushing their mowers and think to yourself, "heck there is a lot of grass out there to be claimed!"

                          Keep on mowing!

                            Mike,

I live right down the road from Atco Raceway and I usually pass Franklin everyday.

We should soup up some mowers and take them to a street car night

How is your trailer working out? I have an old rustic number right now and when I get bigger i'm going to have to upgrade. Is Franklin a good place to look into?

Oh yeah, anyone have a heads up on a really good dealer around the southern New Jersey area? My loyalty isn't anywhere right now and I need a good dealer for equipment, service, you know.

                            Take care guys.

we are in Jackson, Central NJ, we have accounts in Ocean, Monmouth, and also have been getting some work in mercer Co.
Landscape Biz is tough around here, they seem to be a dime a doz..

We have been in business going into our 6th year, and although there is alot of competition, we seem to be doing well.

There is so much home building around here, there are new lawns sprouting up all the time. And usually alot of the newbies, are out for one season, and you never see them again the next.

                              Survival of the fittest!

Nice to see that there are so many of you guys from NJ!!
