When I looked at your logo, I see two women walking up a hill/mountain.

Wind blowing to the left, woman facing the right. Very tall lady in the front...... short lady behind her!

Not poking fun, just what I saw at a glance!

Thanks Maple...i appreciate the feedback. I was moving too fast too soon and not thinking enough on my ideas. I think this one is going to stick and it makes more sense now.

If anyone else has any serious opinions or suggestions they are welcomed.

Seascape, Mikes and Scaper.....i guess you could look at it like one of those optical illusion pictures. LOL.

If you can get a business name with a dot com easily remembered or entered into search you'll be ahead of the game.

            Best of luck

              Altaview,
I really do like the idea of going with an area specific name. It makes you sound like a neighbor, and people like that. I live in a big city, but I am just in the edge of the suburbs. I really couldn't do Philly Lawn Service. Although I could probably do P.A.L.S: Philly Area Lawn Service.

Oh well, I do like the name though!!

Ok, I have decided to have a professional design this thing. Here is a version of what is being designed. I like the design with the mountains as it represents my local area as well as my name. I will look for a different color scheme and possibly lose the sunburst effect over the mountains. Let me know what you all think. I value your feedback.

                  Thanks,

                    Hello AltaView:

I would change the Fonts used in the word AltaView, it's fairly hard to read & remember (LOL) most of your customers probably do not have perfect eyesight!

We have a company here in town that has Vinyl lettering on their trucks & enclosed trailers & I can't even read the words because of the Fancy Fonts used, I'm taking about less than 20 feet away with letters at least 4" tall?

The darker background behind the letters doesn't help much either. I like the sunburst, maybe a different color? Yellow or Orange maybe? Shoot I don't know!

                    Just my thoughts!

I would agree too, change the font and lose the sunburst. You might even see if you could come up with a real sun coming over the tops of the mountains instead of the sunburst. Food for thought...

I don't think it looks professional enough.

I also don't like the outlining around the letters. Gives it a choppy appearance.

Have them brighten it up more.

Personally, I think mountains are over done in logos for scaping companies. I have seen many with mountains and a sun peaking through.

Please don't take offense, just giving my thoughts.

I appreciate all feedback. That's why I asked. I will be sticking with the mountains though. That is what makes it specific to me and my area. The Wasatch Mountains/AltaView. I really do appreciate the feedback though. I am waiting for revisions and will post them when available.

                            Thanks,

                              New Logo Revisions

Ok, here is kind of a different direction from a different designer. I am still moving towards a final logo based on the last design I posted. Thoughts?

                              Thanks,
