  • Scotts lawnService. Any in your Area?

What do y'all know about the Franchised Scott's LawnService. They seem to be expanding rapidly & have a heck of a marketing program behind them. I'd think this would be a good opportunity for someone wanting to expand into Ferts while using the best marketed brand recognized name in the industry. What are everyone's opinions?????

    Scott's

I applied for a franchise, my town is about
25,000 population. They turned me down
based on market analysis that told them
that the town did not have enough commercial
    business to support a franchise.
"THEY WANT NOTHING BUT BIG STUFF"
Makes sense, they have a branded name
a company with that amount of recognition
needs to start at the top.
be a waste of time to go through the
    bottom to get there.
In a way I was glad they turned me down,
I know there not coming here, yet.
Hard to franchise a cash business without
getting porked. Gotta stay in the big stuff.

Do you need help? If you can come up with the money for the franchise, why don't do you own marketing campagn a save from paying the royalties.
