  • Straight Blades

I was browsing thru a blades catalog and they have this straight blades that they claim to cut grass better without blowing grass clipping out of the deck and making your motor run faster .

Anybody out here has tried them ?
Are they really cut any good or better than regular blades?

Any suggestions about it? , Please repply!

    Link?

Most mower blades are straight with some kind of cutting edge and a lift.

Possibly a type of low lift blade best suited for sandy conditions, bagging leaves or for doubles on a unit with lower hp to deck size ratio.

These blades produce less blow-out & do not drag down the engine as much, however they generally leave a poor cut.

Those blades are for summer dry conditions. They are less punishing on your belts and pto but do not cut as well in wet high grass.

This blades that I'm talking about are completetely flat like the edgers blades. I guess they are new in the market.
Ps: They have no lift at the end whatsoever.
