Hello all,


I need some help, and fast. I have an opportunity to clean out the gutters of one of my customer's homes. I need to know what to charge her. This is my first job of this sort. It is a one story house and I will need to buy a ladder of my own for this. The back of her house is terraced so half of her house is like it is one story and the other half goes down to a cement slab patio. Would somebody please shoot me a dollar figure? I told her I would give her a price in about 24 hours. Thanks.

I charge .50 cents a foot and have no prolem. It is pretty much quote your price and tell them to take it or leave it.

Charge by how long it takes you to complete the job ,whatever your hourly rate is.if they dont like pass ,nasty job if you are not getting what you should.

Any job that requires me climbing a ladder or a tree will cost the customer $100 per man hour. You should be able to get that house done in an hour or less since it is one story. I just got done doing a gutter clean out on a midsized ranch house and it took about an hour.

We start at $50.00 for 1-story and $100.00 for 2-story. If there are gutters on all 4 sides of a 1-story house, it will be more than gutters on front and back only.

I'm running a neighborhood special right now that is going to be $40.00 for all houses in the neighborhood. They are all 1-story tiny houses that have only front and back gutters.

If you give someone a fair price on gutters, you'll usually get called back for other jobs.
