I got a client who has a tree that he wants to cut down . It's a pine tree about 15 inches around and about 65-75 feet high. nothing around to hit but I dont know what to charge for dropping the tree and removal. Looking for average price

    thanks

Rough guess? ... $400 hundred ... on site time way under two hours. If you had a chipper this would be a piece of cake. If he squaks at price you could go to $300 if needed. Cut to within 6 inches of ground level without stump grinding ... pine is soft so you can get pretty close to ground without a stump grinder.

Youll proablly have 4 hrs in it. Im thinking 2 loads on a 16' trailer. But you may jam it all on 1. Doubt it though. But i agree w/ phil. Id throw 400 at him and if he bulks than start coming down. If you have other work you could do better w/ than keep firm. Im thinking i could still get 45 an hr anyway which is all i need to meet my goals. Thats me though.

About price sounds good, would be considered a fair normal price in my area, must consider physical location of tree for felling and hauling off (from where it'll be on the ground to where your trailer is).
If you've not done this type work before, just be very careful, very cautious, plan your moves and your cuts.
Also, keep the weight of tree in mind when loading trailer, might easily max trailer limit out, don't want broken axle or worse.
