  • Yard Waste?

How are you handling your yard waste? I'm looking for ideas. I'm moving into a new market, and the warehouse we will be working out of is not conducive to a dumpster, and I don't want to make daily trips to the dump.

I figure this forum would be a great group to ask. . .

Maybe you can barter some work with someone who has room to stockpile it on their property. I worked for a paving co. whos owner leased property to a large landscaper. When their waste pile got full they gave us a call, and on our first short day or a rain out our trucks would go load it up and haul it to the dump. It gave us a few extra hours now and then and they didn't have to send crews of 3 or 4 to the dump on the way in to the yard. Maybe you can service the grounds of a paving co. in your area in exchange for dumping privelages. We usually had three stockpiles going at our yard, one being dirt and excavated material. Then when those bins were full, it would save us from going home on a rain day.
