need some help

Hello to all. I am new here and i am considering starting a lawn care business in my area. Could anyone please help with any info (estimating-equipment-etc.). I would like to do this the right way and not do anything to hurt the business structure of Lawn Care. Thank You for your time.

Welcome, from one of the 996 members. If you will let us know, the area you live in, I am sure members in your area will be able to answer many of your questions on license, and insurance guidelines for your state. You will find people that have years of practical working experience using just about every type of equipment on the forum that are more than happy to give you assistance.

Thank you Jack. I live in Mooresville, N.C. (Lake Norman area). I have many contacts (friends) in the area. I would like to talk to someone in the area, so that i know i'm not charging to low (cut-throating) and hurting the trade. Thank You for your help.

Have your local lawn services put a bid on your property to see what they are charging. This way you can see what their contracts look like and you know how to position yourself in the market place in your area.
