$30 minimum here although I do have one at $25.

For one-time jobs like clean-ups, hedges/shrubs, mulching, brush clearing, weeding etc. I try to get $200 minimum.

My minimum is 40.00, but I don't do any mow and go's. If you don't edge, trim and blow, the yard is going to look like crap. My reputation as a professional is built on the quality of work I provide. Average for a residential lot is 50.00

A better question yet.....Of these $25/$30/$35 accounts, how long does it typically take you to service? Reason I ask is this...

If you charge $35 for a 40 min job and I have a few that I charge $25 and $30 for 22 mins of work with about 2-3 mins drive time to the next site. I can make more $ with the second senerio. I'm just curious on how long it takes you on most yards. If I can up my rate to $35 for a 15-22 min service, I'd be happy. Of course I'm speaking full maintance...cut,trim,edge,blow, and 22 mins as an average excluding any extras that come about once in a while like aeration and the such.

Hey Edger, This is my first year full time. Did it part time for several years. This is a hot business here in cumberland county. Most of my accounts are residential, but looking to get into more commercial. Also want to get more into chemical applications
