Fertilizing - Granular?

I'M NEW TO THE BUSINESS AND WOULD LIKE TO OFFER LAWN FERTILIZING TO MY CUSTOMERS. WHERE CAN I LEARN ABOUT IT AND HOW DO I CHARGE FOR THIS SERVICE? ANY HELP I CAN GET WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Anyone have a link for New York State licensing for fertilizer applications?? or does anyone know off hand what is required for such? Difference between liquid and granular application requirements.?? Thanks

a pesticide is still a pesticide no matter what form. In my state you can drop fertilizer all day, but no pesticide without a license.

Texas Fertilizing

In Texas you do not have to have a license to apply fertilizer, but you do have to have a license to apply any type of weed and feed as it is considered an herbicide. www.agr.state.tx.us

MightyBrite, there are two clinics left in ILLINOIS for this spring. One is in Collinsville(April 21-22), and the other is in Springfield(May 5-6). You can call U.of I. Extension for all the info ...(800)641-3934.

You do need a license for granular.
The clinics will train and test you, or you can get the manuals and study and test on your own.
If either of the clinincs are near you, you can call (800)-644- 2123 to preregister and get study material.
