  • Other businesses...

From reading the forums over the past few months, I’ve noticed some of you mention that you have other businesses in addition to your lawn business.

What other types of business are you guys into?

I have my fingers in a few ventures.

    Diversity is a wonderful thing!
Jeeps are like women.....much more fun with their TOPS OFF!

A society that rewards based on need creates needy citizens. A society that rewards based on ability creates able ones.

Do you guys think Obama is going to kiss us after he is done with us or is he going to put on his belt and head out the door?

I am a licensed residential builder since 1979. I used to build from the ground up, but for the last 10 years I have done more repairs, remodeling than anything.

      I also have rental property....about 20 houses.

I raise meat goats on a 40 acre farm. We run about 120 head.

And, if I could get this lawn service thing off the ground, then I'd have that too.

My wife is trying to get a residential cleaning service off the ground right now as well.

I like to keep my eggs spread out over several baskets.............

I'm a full time firefighter/paramedic i work 24 hrs on and 48 hrs off. I aslo own a window cleaning co. In the winter months I have a christmas light business along with putting up decorations, big money in that here in TX. We also sell firewood by the cord, I have about a 400 acre farm were we cut the firewood for free so we can sell it. and then of course the lawn care business is the biggest of my ventures, I have close to 100 properties both residential and commercial, with 2 full time employees.
