Hello Mr. Quik36", I was looking at the new Billy Goat 3 blade 33" at my dealer today. Besides the fact that your unit uses a hydro drive w/differential & the BG is a gear drive, how does your mower differ? The BG was very compact & looks to be a nice little gate mower, however I would be concerned about discharge ability w/3 small tightly baffled chambers.

        JackD:

The Better Outdoor Products Quick36 provides a lot of features besides just the hydrostatic drive. Let me list some of them:

        1. Electric starting standard equipment with a recoil for back-up use.
        2. Enclosed mechanical clutch/brake for the deck drive. Belts are constantly tensioned which makes them last a LOT longer than a typical idler tensioner.
        3. Kevlar-cord drive belts can be changed in minutes with no tools required.
        4. Full sized 16-6.50 X 8 drive wheels with 9-3.50 X 4 smoothies on front. Easily removable for tire repairs.
        5. Commercial-grade 1/4" thick caster forks mounted on ball bearings instead of the usual bushings.
        6. Fabricated and welded steel deep-tunnel deck. MUCH harder to make 'em this way, but you should see it cut! Accelerator Industries all-aluminum bagger and genuine Gator Mulching blades coming VERY soon.
        7. 5-hour fuel capacity. If you mow that long, take a break.
        8. Height of cut adjustments take about two minutes and can be done without help. System is designed to raise the deck levelly <is that a word? so no more uneven cutting.
        9. Extremely compact F-R length. ~19" shorter than a competitive 2-blade 36.
        10. Did I mention that it's a hydro? With a true reverse. Ground speeds of 0-5 Forward and 0-2 Reverse. Direction and speed controls both in your right hand.

Oh, and it's a hydro, too.

Hello Mr. Quick36", is this a battery oprerated electric start?

No Flat semi-pneumatic front casters may be a better choice than "smoothies"?

A 2 minute height adjustment is nothing to brag about.

The deck sounds solid but have you sacrificed discharge capablity for compactness? All small 3 blade units Jack D. has tried such as the Sutech Stealth & Great Dane Super Surfer did poorly in lush turf.

Regardless, if you can get this mower into dealer showrooms it will sell Boatloads. There is nothing comparable on the market & there is a huge demand for compact, inexpensive, easy to maneuver 36". Jack D. would seriously consider this mower over a commercial belt drive 36" for its compactness & maneuverability.
