  • Bagging

If you have a customer (mowing) that wants it bagged what do you guys usually charge additionally over the typical fee? Do you have a set percentage or dollar amount or does it depend on the size of the yard? I'm still trying to get all the variables together so that I'll be able to get quoting as soon as the snow melts! Thanks.

I never bag unless it's absolutely necessary. I won't bag simply because a customer insists on it. 99% of the time once they see how good it looks mulched they won't have a problem with it.

good call! it really isnt worth it because for me 2 dump an 8ft bed full of clippings is liek 50 bucks.and if you do the lawn regularly t more benifits out of leaving the clippings down adds 25% more fert back to the ground

I concur, double blades. This year I am only going to bag if I get enough extra to do it, or if the person is having somekind of get-together where they are going to be all over the lawn, so that they all don't have green shoes

                  Dbl blades

Does doubling the blades really make that big of a difference? Do you ever run into any problems with the dble blades?

Yes, double blades really make a difference. I use double medium lift blades on mine. Ive tried a medium lift and a mulcher but still clumped a little.

                      Dbl Blades

Which Dbl Blades are you using? and what type of mower are you putting them on?

The standard blades that come with the Lesco belt 36" mower. Tighten em on in a + formation. I have to remove one washer to fit the extra blade on.

So I have a 48 in Snapper walk behind and want to try the double blades. I am using ninja blades now and they work pretty good but have never put on double blades. Do I have to buy a bracket to be safe?? thanks for the help.

This double blade thing sounds great wanna get in on it, makes me think of the Honda mulching blades of the 21inch mowers but what kinda blades would work best for me on 52inch scagg can't wait to see results. Anybody's help. Thanks
