We don't snow plow down this far south, but you can't go wrong with a diesel work truck. Not only the added torque, but diesel fuel is usually cheaper at the pumps. Although the gas companies are starting to figure out that more and more people are buying diesels and are starting to hike the price. Makes no sense too since diesel is much cruder than regular gasoline and takes less to refine it. Always someone trying to make more money for nothing!

        No More Diesels for me

Had one diesel truck and no more unless its very big. They are too loud, idle too ruff and exhaust stinks. I have to go with the chevy 6.0 for a heavy duty work truck. Having said that got a new toyota tundra this year and its a very stripped down version. No fancy stuff just a good work truck. No it won't be used for plowing. But for 17,000.00 and free oil changes for life and 0.05 percent interest its a good deal for me. Oh, I did get a bed liner
