I just tried that site before I posted my question. Thanks though. I am looking for some way of calculating when I am at Someones property. Doing it this way I have to run home. Example: Bed= 50ft Length x 4 ft. wide. Total 200 sq. ft. How many yards is that? Did I even do that right? I gotta learn sometime. LOL.

200 sq ft is the following amount of cubic ft:
        1" deep = 16.6
        2" deep = 33.3 cubic ft
        3" deep = 50 cubic ft
        4" deep = 66.6 cubic ft

        The formula is:
        (length x width) / (12/depth)

Still need to carry a calculator with you.

          Get A Projectcalc-Plus calculator from Home Depot - Lowes - Sears .
It cost about 20 to 30 bucks and it is easy to use .
