Do you charge extra if you have to pick limbs or smaller debris from the yard before mowing it?

If there is not a lot of it, no, I would not charge extra. I don't want a client to think I am going to nickel and dime them to death.

Nope. No extra charge for "normal" amounts of litter or debris on the lawn. Its 1 of those things that that you should account for in your regular fee. Now if there's a huge wind storm and you have branches and stuff all over than I think the 1 or 2 times U ask for a little xtra the customer should understand. Whats the other option? just hit it w/ the mower and let 'er fly? Not.

        Thanks

Just wondering, cause the extra time it would take to walk the property and remove anything you didn't want to mow over.

        Thanks.

If it was a constant problem I would try to sell some pruning if you offer the service or recommend a professional who can.

I dont charge extra unless the amount of debris is excessive. If I have to bundle them up for curb pick up, yes. If I have to get out the chainsaw, yes.

              similar property

I have the same problem on some of my property too. I havent charge them for the extra, i try to build it into the price of the weekly lawn. They know about the extra unless they are blind. I bet they even have a pile someone of old limbs. If you have a massive storm i would charge extra above normal amounts too.
