Wonder if it might be a tad bit under-powered?
    Gas tank too small?
It's in the neighborhood of $3500

    Uhhhh, Hello?? I love Husqvarna!

I looked into that model of a mower, but looked at the largest one offered. I think it was the 21hp Kawasaki. Priced around $6300.

Light, smooth cutting, and neat looking. But I have yet to make the plunge into getting one. I have a local dealer that I can order it from too.

I love Husky also, but why go with this as opposed to ZTR?

The attachments are somewhat limited it seems...I haven't seen one to compare first hand though...

It needs a bigger deck size.

Think I would stick with the GrassHopper outfronts. []

It is literally a toy. There is nothing commercial about it.....made mostly of plastic.

EH, if you are that anxious to piss away 6K, how about sending it this way and let me piss it away for you?

If you want an outfront deck with a steering wheel a used Toro groundsmaster would be a much better and an American made product.

Marty, you were the one that talked me out of buying that machine in the first place. But thought you did say the cut was nice?

I absolutely don't mind the plastic at all. From the one I looked at, the plastic parts were things that don't need to be steel. Like covers and such.

I think that idea is great, I really do. It keeps the dreaded weigh down on the machine. I bring you to the attention of the new Kubota ZTR's. Another great STRONG machine that incorporates plastic for weight savings. Not to mention rust and dents. You have to almost bend that plastic completely in half to break it. Just like a all terrain quads. I like the plastic covers, no paint to chip or scratch either.

Stone, just curious, what type of generator do you recommend, or have purchased? How about what brand mower engine you like? Wait, wait, how about your computer?[]

                  Scott,
If I don't get a used commercial mower to start I am getting a new husky w/b. Even over exmark. HeHe.

This mower was designed for smaller areas therefore the deck size is adequate. I have a tractor w/a 16hp kohler and it could use a bigger motor. Now this Husky seemed lighter than my tractor and is obviously lighter than my husky Z. I'll have to get the specs to see. Ultimately I need to give er a test run.

My main reason for looking at this was that it was only in the mid 3k's for cost. It has a reliable motor, a tilt deck and a name that I'll defend to the end.

My current Z, is really not a catch all for my lawns or needs and my tractor has seen better days. I have few yards now that are really soft and started to have ruts so I was looking for an alternative besides a w/b but in the same price range. This just seem to fit the bill.

Stone, I thought you had a Honda generator, and always complimented the Kawasaki 12.5hp?[]

Scott, I would be inclined to think that the one you looked at is not the true commercial one. I think they make 3 different "grades". The Pro-Flex model is the commercial one I think.

I liked the idea of it because of how small it was and the type of deck setup. We have so many small areas to cut on our commercial sites and felt it would be nice.

Lowes sells the base residential model for about $3000. Definately a neat mower. I would like to see some larger tires. But the turning is quite neat. I really liked it. But would go with the highest model....which then gets up there by the 44" or 52" Toro ZTR 100 series. Tough call.
