  • What would you bid

I was wondering how long approx. 20 commercial acres would take to mow (Some rolling hills/Flat area) I have an idea but don't want to under/over bid what the job is worth!
    I would be using a
    1-2 48in exmark walk behind
    1-60 inch. Laser
Also can you give me what you would charge on this! There is not much edging, but trimming! This 20 acres is spread across 5 different lots, 3 are next to each other, & 2 are next to each other about 5 miles away! This company will probably be a little bit picker then other commercial accounts!

I will be paying 2 employees $9.00 each and myself the owner!
    Thanks in advance!

I've been out of this a long time.

You really need to find someone close to your area, because different pricing in different parts of the country.

I hope you have something for the guys with the walk behinds that they can sit or stand on while cutting?

Where I'm located you are looking at $25 to $35 an acre, in most cases. I'm sure there's a few here, that could give you a better idea than me, I'm going by what I hear in my area & what I see posted on forums.

It would help you a lot if you could figure how many man hours it's going to take & then figure it at how much an hour you want to make.
