  • HELP! I need to find an Enhansed Toro T-Bar

I have a ’96 Toro hydro WB. I want to upgrade the T-bar to the “Enhanced” T-bar that was introduced by Toro in ’97. If you have or know of someone who has a ’97 or newer Toro hydro that is being sold for parts, I would sure like to know about it.

    Thanks,

    ~Ron.

Most likely you need the new better valving system.

Go to the Toro master parts viewer and compare machines to find the difference.

And never listen to your dealer for most of the time they are clueless.

I received the valve up-date kit today and will install it soon, but that's not my problem. The problem is witht the old-style T-Bar. The Enhanced T-Bar has a shorter throw or travel, and is much easier to operate.

I would like to find a '97 or newer Toro hydro that perhaps has a shot engine or bent deck and has been put out to pasture somewhere. I hate to have to sell this nice machine, but I know that inexperienced helpers will have a hard time learning on this one.

I would be happy to trade you a 1995 Belt drive 18hp V-twin Kohler with a 52" deck.

You can also keep your 52" deck for I am looking for a hydro mule to use as a base to make my next 5' ride on tine rake and aerator.

A belt would be a much better choice for "green" operators.
