You've got to keep practicing. Eventually you'll get to where you can keep the inside tire moving slightly to keep from burning the lawn. You've got the right idea though as far as technique goes. Also, make sure you're going around the perimeter to allow yourself one or two deck widths to turn.

Yea I do need more practice for sure I feel like I wrestling a bull half the time LOL. Ok so go around the perameter then go back and forth ... I have been basically trying to do that so far

I use this method with my WB.. Is it the same with a ZTR though?? Hopefully I'll be picking up my new Toro Z tomorrow!

tulsa lawn guy, Is it coming equipped w/ a new Turbo Force deck?? I hear those are a vast improvement over the SFS decks. I hated my WB and sold it. Tell me how it works, I'll probably add ZTR here in a few years.

              Grounds,

If your mower is blet driven you will have to make atleast 2-3 passes around the outside of the property to allow for a big turn around. The key here is not locking up the inside wheel.

                  for pros only to try

when turning wb you can use one hand on the turn side and stand still as the mower turns around you thus not having to walk the full circle and yee two pass around perimeter........have fun :

if your gonna turn right with a z at the end of the row turn towards the left and then stop and back it around to the right and go down the next row.
