Hell if your gonna break the law,,, break it right. Go get the **** yourself and charge about $55.00.

I'd charge $30 for the labor --- it shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes.

Check your state regs. Applying the product for hire is what makes it illegal, not the purchase of the product.

Skip the weed and feed and just apply straight fertilizer. I'm not sure about your state, but it is legal for a non-licensed company to apply fertilizer as long as it does not contain any pesticides or herbicides.

Not trying to sound real harsh here, but if you don't know what you are doing in the world of fertilizers and chemicals, you NEED TO EDUCATE yourself BEFORE doing anything. This is VERY dangerous business and the consequences of a "goof" could cost you many thousands of $$$$$, not to mention the health of yourself, the property owners, and the environment.

Sure, applying fertilizer sounds simple enough, but do you really know what you are doing?? Cutting a lawn wrong will be solved in a week. Mis-applying fertilizer or chemicals, in worst case scenarios, could never be solved and YOUR name is all over THAT "goof".

Find a reputable sub-contractor to do the work and if you want to get into the application side of things, learn about what you are doing. Taking the test is NOT enough. You need to understand WHAT these applications do, HOW they work, WHAT the effects of them are and general SAFETY when applying them.
