My first brand spankin' new Exmark!!!

Hey guys. I'm going to go out and buy me a new Exmark Turf Tracer Hp 36". I know to most of you guys that isn't much of a mower. But compared to what I've had to mow with in the past, I think it's gonna be a cadillac! :p I'm for sure buying the mulch kit for all of my mowing. I was also considering buying the 3 bushel bagging kit for fall cleanups. You guys think the bagging kit will be to small for the job? I was thinking since it cut up the debris that it would probably hold quite a bit. Now I've just been using a craftsman power broom. Doesn't cut it up, and doesn't pick all of it up. Not very effecient. Another question I have is which sulky would be best for this mower? Here's a cheezy picture of the one I'm using now. I'm not happy with it at all. The one I'm using now will dig itself into the ground if I back up to much. It's also hard to stay on the dang thing while making tight turns. And no standing on it while backing up, cause it spins around backwards.

Any suggestions? I'd like to thank everyone for all the advice on this forum. It's great for everyone to be able to learn from everyone elses mistakes!! Thanks guys.

Congrats bodypilot! Hey, that's a fine mower, beats my metro. From what I've seen here, it looks like the accelerator catchers are the way to go. Can't help ya with the sulky questions. I'm waiting for a proslide to come in for my 36".

I have the same mower and use the 2 wheeled velky from Jungle Jims. Jungle Wheels, love it. Back up instantly full speed, ride it onto and off of the trailer....very nice.

The one i'm using now resembles the Jungle Jim one. Mine doesn't back up. It will rotate completely around to where it's under the sulky connection bar. Any other good options out there?

It must not be too similar if it jackknifes easliy. Takes some getting used to, but mine rarely jackknifes. My velky has two swivel points, which I thought at first would be harder to use, but I have found it very productive.

Anyone know about these sulky's? http://www.rackemmfg.com/e-z.shtml I was really possibly interested in a sulky that is stationary with swivel wheels. I can't seem to find to much info on different types sulky's. Anyone have any websites with some more options for sulky's? great mower I have 4 of them, go with the single wheel velky can't be beat, it is easy on the ankles un like a 2 wheeler

I'd stay clear of the one wheeld ones. Leaves a center line, more wearing on the legs. If your is just like the jungle Wheels one, I'd suggest you practice more. Mine rarely jackknifes at all, and I acn tell if it is going to and it's easily corrected. I don't even think about backing up any more, I just do it.

I thought about the track down the center from a one wheel. I was thinking of buying a roller for it... think the one wheel would kinda ruin the effect.
