Use that farmer's tan as a topic of conversation to sell your services.

"You're farmer's tan is quite horrific, you must spend a lot of time outdoors."
"Why Yes, as a matter of fact I do..."

You can finish it from there.

Farmers Tan View From Good Looking Tail....LoL

As a "good looking tail", I'll jump in on this one....LoL.....I personally think a farmers tan is down right sexy! My husband was sporting one when we met (and still is...)
If you think the "good looking tail" turn the other way just because of your farmers tan....it may be something else......

Off Topic, A RedNecks Point of View...

It's my understanding from talking to quiet a few ladies that that there are a lot of them out there looking for a Man, a Home, wanting to start a family & there's a real shortage of people meeting these requirements, just ask them?

There are too many out there that worry about their tans, body hair, boom box, spinners, partying every night, that stay at home, live off their parents & blow every dime they make on them selves, (if the few that do actually have a job), not even helping contribute to the family or more than likely live off the family? Sad but true!

When I was growing up 1'000's of years ago, if you quit school or graduated High School you either...

Joined the Military & Got Married or Visa Versa
Got a Home, a Real Job & was looking to get Married
Got a Job, got married & worked your way through college
Went to college & was looking to get married or Visa Versa

Because your future & being a contributor to society was far more important than anything else in this world!

But in any case you left home because you were not a child anymore, you were a Man.

        And if you didn't...

You worked & stayed at home to help support your family, possibly they were unable to support themselves & it is now your job to return the favor, because look at what all they did for you for the past 18 years or so...

        or

You had a Mental, Sexual preference or Sorry as crap issue & that was true over 90% of the time, back in the day. Of course there were the few lucky ones that were fed with a silver spoon that lived at home & went to College, but not many. Trust me!

It's been said that the average male now lives at home until the age of 25.

When I was 14 years old, all I wanted was a car, when I was 16 all I wanted was a Home of my own. I got the car at age 15, at late 17 years old I purchased a Trailer to live in, got married at age 20, bought my first real home when I was 21, by age 25 I had purchased 5 duplexes & Bla Bla Bla...

What happened to those kind of folks?

I would rather live poor & do without, sharing my life with who I love than trying to ever see how many things I can put in my Toy box...

Because that my friend is living life at it's fullest.

I have come to the conclusion, that my Home is my Castle, I also come to the conclusion, that if you can't have a good time at home & you have to leave it to be entertained or pay to be entertained somewhere else, something is wrong at home!

ASK your self this... Am I that far from the Truth?

LOL, So stay tuned for more words of wisdom from...

How do you describe a farmers tan ? Now days we aren't out in the sun very much with our air-conditioned and heated cabs. The most I'm out in the sun is loading the seed & fertilizer into the grain cart for the air seeder. Unfortunately most of the time for spring seeding up here you have to wear a jacket or sweatshirt. About the only thing not air conditioned is the lawn mower. With all the mosquitoes & the West Nile disease they recommend wearing long sleeve shirts when mowing.
What I did hate years ago was the truck driver tan. The left arm always had a nice tan and the right arm was always white. This was before everybody had air conditioning in their trucks.

To much sun without a sun blocker lotion can lead to skin cancer.

Also the people that go up to Lake of The Woods in the spring after big Northern Pike come back looking like raccoons from wearing sunglasses to help protect themselves from the sun reflecting off of the snow and ice. We can tell who went fishing!

65 yesterday and 40 for today with rain showers for a couple of days and maybe snow flurries on Monday?
So far it is still to soggy & wet for spring cleanups .

Master dont take me the wrong way....since you and many other's younger years things have changed greatly: the cost of living, the education rate, technology, what is and isnt acceptable actions; basically everything. It is unacceptable for a kid not to finish highschool and expected for them to goto some sort of school after highschool. kid nowadays are dependent on their parents for most of their highschool and college careers (i know i was and still am) because more is expected out of them. Nowadays you cant get a job to support your family w/out a highschool diploma and really even a college degree. I know what your thinkin: i know plenty of people that did and are making it today, my point exactly things have changed. I'm still in college and there would be no way i could pay for it and have decent grades. there is not enough time to work if you want to make good grades and to make good grades you have to goto class, do all the homework, projects, and extensive papers plus study for the tests read all the assignments and so on and so on; I know that you probably know someone who worked for their tuition and still made it through college which is my point again things have changed professores expect much more from their students now and assign several paper and home work in just a weeks time, there isn't a single person i know that is going to college full time, working to pay for it and comming out w/ good grades. Trust me i tried it to help my mom and dad and my grades fell badly, i was staying up all night studing or writring a paper then going to class and heading out to work after class, it was to much for me to control. Luckily my parents help me out, we aren't the richest of families but my parents work hard to make a way to pay for it and i am thankful for that GREATLY !!! Although there is one thing i can say, i belive in hard work and getting things done, i started and run this business to help my parents in any way i could...a very small amount of my money goes to my desires, for the most part i save it and put it torward my schooling needs (may it be tuition, books, food, or whatever). And about worring about your looks... I was kidding...i know i will more than likely end up w/ a farmers tan, yeah i care about my looks and i like to dress nice but i am not one of those pretty boys, I have never put gel in my hair and dont plan to, i have never attended a tanning salon and dont plan to... Yeah i am from the city but i wouldnt consider myself a pretty little spoiled city boy.

How about a change of heart, Sir?

Anybody that can come back with a reply like the one above...

I have 100% respect for them!

I wish I had a Farmers tan, of course I could always sit out on my deck with my Laptop hooked up to my Wireless Network.

But 2 hours in the sun would fry my skint head & what little brain I got left! (I lost mt Stetson Straw Hat)

Hang in there, hard working folks are very rare these days!

PS: I was pretty good looking back in the day until I had my teeth pulled out, my hair fell off my head, got my humongous Beer drinking pot belly & discovered that I like the feel of a Nice Leather Office chair, when I'm not at my kitchen table in my Rebel Boxer Shorts, wearing my red robe & smoking my corn cob pipe!

Join one of the two nudist resorts in your state or find a nude beach and you won't be worried about a farmers tan. Personally, I don't worry about it and its in the same catagory as baldness--these hardly constitute a personal crises.

It's not called a Farmers Tan any more, nowdays farmers ride in a A/C cab all day, no tan at all.
The new term is "Golfers Tan"

                        ===================

I have never heard the term "farmer's tan" before lol. I must be uncultured & Aussie lol

I gotta agree with Bo tho - all over tans are for yuppies. IMO anyone shallow or even concerned enough to be having themself an all over tan - Not my cup of tea! And they have got way to much time on their hands

                        Take care all
