seems like everytime I turn around I see someone with a mower behind their truck.

Man, don't take offense to this, but why are you on the computer? If I needed work that bad I'd be out knocking on doors. People are coming home from work right now. They're looking at their crappy looking yard, it's almost the weekend. Go out and introduce yourself to people. Don't give them a long drawn out sales pitch. Just kindly introduce yourself, tell them a little about your business, give them a card, and head on. There's absulutely no doubt in my mind, that if I went out looking for work tonight I'd have a job lined up for tomorrow. I'd be willing to bet you could line up a mulch install, and land a mowing contract. Good luck.

hey dazed & confused wow i thought i was the only one having problems like that. Last week we had 3 good jobs lined up and then this week nothing. It is so the same here everyone and there mom seems to be doing lawn care these days i look in one of the local papers and i am like WOW because there was over 32 different lawn care ads and it was in a paper that the Ad rates are high in. So far this year we have done 1 mulching job 1 mowing and 1 spring cleanup and gave 3 mowing estimates 1 mulching out of the 3 mowing we only landed one tho don't know what happened with the lady wanting us to mow her lawn and the other was a cemetery we lost that because we were to far a for them only 18 miles.
