  • fertilization and dogs

Does anyone have any feed back on fertilization and how dogs react to it.I have a customer with three dogs and anytime they get sick she thinks its from something in the lawn. I do not put anything down now because I am scared to. I know a combo fert. would probraly affect them but not straight fert. I was going to try some organics but think that synthetics would be fine after talking to someone from Lesco. Any info. that I could give her to make her feel safer?

Is this post clear to you all?

I don't have enough experience with it to answer all your questions, but...
My neighbors have a blue heeler(sp.?) that is sensitive to lots of things, so they seldom used anything on their lawn. I introduced them to Ringers and they seem to like it and are using it now without it bothering the dog. For weed prevention you could try corn gluten meal. Either of these are going to be more expensive for the customer. I also suggested to the neighbors, to fence of a small run with a temporary fence for a week or two after applying regular products, then switch the dog to the other area for the rest of the app., but they didn't try that yet. I hope they do, their yard is more weeds than grass and it's a battle keeping them out of my lawn.
