  • mowing new car dealership?

well i got my first big commercial job. it was pretty cool cause i was the only one to bid on it. the total turf area is only 17000 sq' but its all islands with 10" curbs i bid it at 220 per cut is that a good bid? i know it wont take all that long to cut but the trimming and clean up will be rough is there any tricks to cleaning up a parking lot, with curbs that high? im sure you cant just blow the clippings back into the lawn.
Also i plan on fertilizing this lawn but it has just been seeded is there a certain amount of time i should wait before fertilizing i dont want to burn it out or over fertilize. thanks

You know why no one else bid on it? Because of the 50,000+ windows sitting nearby, within trimmer thowing distance.

As for your price, how long will it take you? I get about (or try to) $100-125.00 per hour for commercial properties, more than that on properties with risks that would be inherent with a car dealership.

You may consider a mulching kit on your deck for the islands. That will eliminate 90% of your clean up around the islands. But ya,, you can just blow it back up over the curbs,, thats typical. As far as trimming this site may qualify for growth regulator. I imagine its plastered w/ light poles? Even just regulator around those would kill your trim time. Also the front strip where car grills hang out over the turf,, regulator will keep your deck afar from the paint jobs and slow down your trim time out there also.
17k @ $220,, id really have to see it but it dont sound bad ,, sounds good really,, there would have to be alot of trim there to regret 17k at that rate. Let us know how it turns out. TIP- go slow on N until you get broke in on this site.

        I LOVE car dealerships!!

They love great curb appeal, are usually willing to pay good $$$ for top quality services and are high profile places for other potential clients to see you.

Yes,there are headaches and extra care is needed, but well worth it.

        Good Luck!
Jeeps are like women.....much more fun with their TOPS OFF!

Starting a new car dealership is a significant venture that requires strategic planning and understanding of the market. One of the most crucial steps is creating an online presence. A website like https://getmancar.com/batumi can be an excellent tool for attracting potential customers by offering detailed car listings and information. With the right location, customer service, and marketing, a new car dealership can thrive. Furthermore, leveraging digital platforms ensures a broader reach, making it easier for customers to find their ideal vehicles.

Mowing a new car dealership requires careful planning to maintain a clean and professional appearance while ensuring the safety of vehicles and customers. The process involves using well-maintained equipment to avoid debris that could damage cars and scheduling mowing times to minimize disruption to business operations.
