After i looked at them a few times i wondered if it was an accident. I never did figure it iut. If you looked at the 1st line on the far left and the far right,, they were straight.Wasnt until about the 3rd line in on both sides that the arch started slightly and of course by the last line looked like a dart board.Plus the best chance i got to count indicated 2 addional lines on one side but it was a fast sloppy count so im not sure. But ya i noticed them also.SENIOR MODERATOR LSF COMMUNITY CONTROL CORDINATOR

Turf looks a LOT better on TV than it does in person.
Some years ago I had a public school district full service (mowing, aeration, de-thatch, fert, weed and insect) sports field contract in the next county.
The football field was a mess (little turf left between the hash marks) due to drought with no irrigation, overplay, and the jar-head football coach practicing the team (with full cleats of course) on the stadium field.
When I observed the highlights of a game there on the local news the field did not look bad at all but up close in person it was beat.

you have to cut it , so how do you not leave some sort of track and pattern.we cut fescue up here and if you have a cheap mower it is gonna stripe.do you change your pattern each cut or do you go round and round every time? i have a house on the corner of a subdivision. they have the stone with the name of the neighborhood on it. it is the first house you see and we try to stripe the hell out of it . extra time ....... no . it is the way you are supposed to cut. one week straight, one the opposite, one diagonal , the next the other way. what kind of mower do you use and how much does it weigh? i got an exmark 48", about 650lbs. the mower stripes without me doing anything special and the only time it leaves tire tracks is when it is super wet and then you take your blower and blow them back the other way. not a big deal!
