    White River Rock??

Yes only take into account the size rock you are using. Smaller sizes like 1/2" go further than 1 1/2". The bigger the rock the more stable and last longer.

      You mean crushed limestone?
      Length x Width x Depth x .0031 = cuyd
      (feet) (feet) (inches)

#8 rounds ,, some may call it milled wont stay.

Might wanna look at # 57 round,,,, or better yet 3"-4" round.

Yes what you are describing is a rock commonly referred to as "River Rock" It comes in both brown and white. Trout and I have a very good understanding and get along very well. He posts his ignorance and I correct him. In his case I can not even lead him to the water, let alone get him to drink.

                          Oh Trout

What can I do with you? Your ignorance is really showing on this one. You insist on all rock mulch is Lime Stone. Sorry, Mother Nature has more imagination than you do. Fortunately so do real landscapers.

There are as many different type of rock as there are grasses in the world. River rock is stone that is drenched from a stream, washed and sized. Not a whole lot of processing. I am un-familiar with Lime Stone "rounds" but won't argue that someone would take the time and expense to manufacture them.

Now are you really that dumb or are you playing me? It is Saturday night and I would not normally be home. However my 89 year old mother is visiting and I must stay with her even if she is sleeping.

                            Mr Ric,
Im not familiar w/ "river rock". Perhaps it is what i am calling "lime stone"?
However,,, I can take you to at least 10 quarries monday morning and show you a tumbler mill making rounds. Perhaps you can show me hoes scooping rocks out of rivers? dont know dont care. Just telling you what i know.

Up here it is blasted out of quarries.
