age , insurence , partnership at 16...

Anyone here my age ( i'm 16), that has a business running , and can someone let me in of a little info on insurence costs sense im so young , such as what kind of insurence and all that and also when im starting this young , should i start with a friend of mine that is my age or should i start out by myself.

Go out on a limb...

and start by yourself, if you have the ambition. You'll probably have to work more than one job in the summers or you'll spend a long time paying off your equipment, but since you're young you have time to grow the biz and it will be worth it. I went in with originally two partners...one's leaving next summer but I'll still have one too many. Unless you can find a partner who's willing to bring something huge to the table (i.e. much, much more than you can) and is just as or more committed than you, then I'd go solo. NEVER MORE THAN ONE PARTNER.

alright well i have a really good friend of mine that is willing to give me his lawn EQ , its a toro ride on , im not sure of the model , it has all the attachment , and also a brand new push mower and weed wacker.

I have mowed his lawn for a few years and he has never done it so he did'nt mind giving them to me.
