I have already esablished a good customer base in my second year of business but i would like to purchase an existing company to get the ball rolling even faster...Do you guys think that is a good idea, and do you know of anyone in ohio, west of cleveland about 40 minutes who is selling their business. Be very meticulous when buying anothers business. There are deals to be had, but there are also lemons.
Buying an existing is a great way for quick expansion, but look closely and make sure the aquisition is a good fit for you, not just something you feel you can make work.
Most importantly, make sure all the "i"'s are dotted and "t"'s crossed!
