  • In the winter..

    hey guys , what do you all do in the winter , is it plowing , or what?

    im 16 and i can't get insurance for plowing but i plan to soon , any advice on what i can do in the mean time.

    Taking care of my full maintenance accounts; mowing once a month; pruning; gutter cleaning; landscaping; gutter cleaning; more pruning; and more gutter cleaning. My crew will shrink down to two part time, but that beats unemployment.

      For some reason, I pick up tons of mulching jobs in the winter. I guess they want their beds to look nicer than everyone else's.

                Besides gutter cleaning, mulching leaves, and so on do you guys just get a part time job or find other stuff to do? and what?

                  I live outside chicago and if your a landscaper in this area you do snowplowing i pick up full season contracts i have all the culvers butterburgers in illinois and a ton of aprtment complexs Insurance is a must for snowplowing trust me..dont bid 2 low and see if you can get your dad to co-sign for some liability insurance wiht you
