  • Irrigation blow-outs finished...

Been doing these for three years now. Seems each year I'm stuck with a different compressor. Year one: Airman. Year two: Sullair. Year three: Ingersoll Rand. Didn't like the Airman. Loved the Sullair, easy to maintain pressure as I wanted due to adjustable throttle. This year I requested the Sullair again when I called to reserve a unit. Apparently requests are only considered. The Ingersoll Rand was by far the most unpleasant one to use. I felt like I was fighting it all day to keep pressure to 60psi (just like the Airman). Furthermore, the damn thing was leaking compressor oil into the hose (more so than I thought should be normal)! Arrrgh, doesn't matter now, they're all done.

What have all y'all used and what is your preference?

The secret is not to edge the 900 lawns a week. This frees up precious time to provide additional services while providing edging as an upsell.
