    Just my 2 cents.

Im heard a rumor stating that the lastest research indicates late winter is the period of greatest root growth. Is it possible TG-CL's application is targeting that and the following appl. contains no N at all? I don't care and I don't care to speculate.

I would suggest some might benefit from a visit to their State's website and browse the legislative statutes that contain the word LIBEL before posting negatively in a national or any other public forum.

Here in zone 5 it was 60 degrees last week and with this increasing strength of the sun weeds are germinating (mostly chickweed) at this time.

In a "normal" year the chickweed would not be an issue at this time for most likely there would be two feet of snow covering the turf.

Gomez, you are allowed to say that you 'feel' it's a rip off.

For example, one of my foremen had work done to his car 2 days ago. They charged him $355 to find and fix a ground wire. I feel his got ripped off. I'm allowed to feel that way.

Now if I said "Jimbo's Car Service does horrible work and charges people for services they didn't do or need, and then lies about those charges".....yeh, that's no good....UNLESS it's true!

P.S. it was 17 degrees last night, ground was frozen as it has been this whole month. 17 again tonight, 32 tomorrow and 19 Friday night.

Sorry your understanding of the law is incorrect IMO.

                    1. The statement does not have to be false to be libelous.

2.The statement only has to be in print in a public forum and harm one's

reputation and cause econimic damage. Adding "I FEEL" does not change that.

This is what your state "FEELS" about the issue.

"In an action for a libel or slander, it is sufficient to state, generally, that the defamatory matter was published or spoken of the plaintiff."

Skaper, you've got a lot to learn.

If I call your sister a "wh0re" that's slander unless I can produce several of her clients who paid for her services. The law says anything written or said can be slander.

Everyone is intitled to their own Opinion I suppose. I think Velvetta cheese tastes like garbage. Oh no, hope I don't get sued. I feel Chemlawn is ripping clients off by applying Pre-M when temps are too low to justify it.

Now if I said "Chemlawn applies chemicals knowing they are worthless, just to take my money". Then yeh, that is a complete lie.

I feel Sodbuster should stop posting other peoples pictures on his site and claiming them as his.

Sodbuster, SOOOO, you say I can say something like that, and it's slander, UNLESS "I can produce several clients....."

You've got a lot to learn Skaper. Your trying to use the opinion of a third party not a fact. In my example the person is a wh0re.... its a fact. Big difference between an opinion of a third party and a direct fact.

Other people can have an opinion that ChemLawn is a rip-off, but that does not make it a fact. See, Skaper you really don't know what you are doing, when you directly accuse ChemLawn of being a rip-off. And stupidity is not a defense to libel either.

SOOOO, all 10,000 + people on those sites are just giving opinions? Even though they have won lawsuits against ? All those people are guilty of libel and going to be sued?

P.S. I let it go the first time and joked about it. But it's not a good idea calling my sister a "Wh0re". I'm not talking about libel, slander, or whatever. Keep it up, I can get pretty ugly. And I don't mean typing on a message board.

Listen Erich, you've got a lot to learn. 10,000 people can win assorted lawsuits for various reason. Does that make your sladerous statement that ChemLawn is a rip-off non-slanderous? No it doesn't. You need to think before you open your mouth.
