In Cincinnati, the soil has been TOO COLD for anything to germinate in February. And they also put down the Pre-M in March.

Here in zone 5 it was 60 degrees last week and with this increasing strength of the sun weeds are germinating (mostly chickweed) at this time.

In a "normal" year the chickweed would not be an issue at this time for most likely there would be two feet of snow covering the turf.

Gomez, you are allowed to say that you 'feel' it's a rip off.

For example, one of my foremen had work done to his car 2 days ago. They charged him $355 to find and fix a ground wire. I feel his got ripped off. I'm allowed to feel that way.

Now if I said "Jimbo's Car Service does horrible work and charges people for services they didn't do or need, and then lies about those charges".....yeh, that's no good....UNLESS it's true!




P.S. it was 17 degrees last night, ground was frozen as it has been this whole month. 17 again tonight, 32 tomorrow and 19 Friday night.

Sorry your understanding of the law is incorrect IMO.

1. The statement does not have to be false to be libelous.

2.The statement only has to be in print in a public forum and harm one's

reputation and cause econimic damage. Adding "I FEEL" does not change that.

This is what your state "FEELS" about the issue.

"In an action for a libel or slander, it is sufficient to state, generally, that the defamatory matter was published or spoken of the plaintiff."

Now if I said "Chemlawn applies chemicals knowing they are worthless, just to take my money". Then yeh, that is a complete lie.

Listen Erich, you've got a lot to learn. 10,000 people can win assorted lawsuits for various reason. Does that make your sladerous statement that ChemLawn is a rip-off non-slanderous? No it doesn't. You need to think before you open your mouth.
