I am certified, but unfortunately the classes don't tell you the going rates for a chemical application. I just sprayed roundup pro on some athletic fields around the infields and the fence lines. Took 1 1/2 3 gallon tanks and about 1 hour to do it. I know there are more costs involved then just my time and material as the course and test and recertification all cost money. I was thinking $85.00 for this job. Is that too much? Also, I usually charge around $40.00 for spot spraying residentials with broadleaf (momentum). Usually takes about 20 minutes and a tank lasts for many properties. I guess I have to figure the costs of learning the trade and the risk factors involved to arrive at a price. Any thoughts on these rates?

With the morning low temp being 10 degrees and 6 inches of snow cover the only thing that is being sprayed is water from the snow guns at all the ski resorts.
Now back to your question.
What is your material cost for this application?
