Very simple set up here, even easier to work inside.
    But....?
What about a system indoors that mimicks the solar system,With crop rotating around a stationary light. No mediums no pumps.

      Dr Bizzaro

I been out tonight and just got a chance to post. My Chem supplier does some Hydro customers and is pretty sharp. In Fact Darin is a perfect nerd who is interesting as Heck to talk to about these things.

I haven't taken the Time to look at the labels, but here it goes. Fungus nates-->Bravo is labeled for food crops but only comes in 2.5 gallon jugs. But Daconil has the same Active Ingredient and is not labeled for food crops. Bravo can be added right into the reservoir because it has systemic action.

Sucking insect can be knocked down quickly with any of the Pyrethrins. Soapy water Spray can be used for minor control problems. I don't think insect control was the real question here. That was pretty simple. But Food Grade Fungicide could be a problem. Sorry I didn't call Darin before, But Cod Busted had just pulled a BS move and Drove me away from this thread. Let us clear the Air by saying this is a low water Hydroponic thread and therefore we only talk about the recaptured water form of Hydroponics here.

(Concern-copper fungicide spray)For fungal probs and (Concern-multi-purpose insect killer)A Pyrethrin based product. Both approved by the certified organic farmers market in california.
What/How many chemicals do you really want to use in or around your hydro set up?
No need to re-invent the wheel here, lots of hydro growers going 30+ years now.Big bussiness for the certified organic markets.
Sustained repeatable results= simple designs that eliminate rather than controll the problems naturally.(Houston we have a problem!)If you go the nasa route, you will go down in flames now and then.
