need fert help

im new to doing the all around lawn care mostly been just mowing edging no fertilizing . i have a new commercial account they sent me a sheet of things that should be done. im in the central nc area they want triple 17 put out at 300lbs a acre is this to much. any info at all would be good

That would be 1.17 LBS of nitro per 1000 sq ft which is fine.

Mariner is right. Basically, you would be putting down 6.88 lbs of fert per 1000.
