How long does soluable fertilizer stay good for once mixed? I started doing liquid fert apps this year and was wondering how long I have before I need to empty the tank each time? I was thinking about 4-5 days but i'd like to hear what others have experienced.

Nitrogen will start to volatiles almost immediately. Since the air we breathe is in fact 78% nitrogen, the nitrogen will gas off. Urea is made by using a great deal on heat energy to extract it from the air and form a solid. Once this solid is turned to liquid it is less stable. Try and use it up in a three day period to get the best results. However 4 to 5 days will be the limit.
