    Hi everybody ,
    this is my first post hope it works.
    check this out at www.buffalonews.com in the city&region.
    I cut the lawn with the purebred but i don't treat it.
    of course it looks great lol!
    I'll have more of myself and my co. next time.

    If they found the granules in his stomach, my guess is that the applicator had some spills he didn't clean up. I think it would be hard for a dog to consume enough to make him sick when spread properly.

      Fertilizer is in fact a salt and you are more than likely correct about the spill. Animals will eat salt and too much fertilizer just like too much water or any thing can kill. My main concern on this is, the tree hugger who will blow a lawn techs laziness out of proportion and make a big deal out of it that can hurt the industry in general. Misapplication or just plain laziness can and does hurt our Industry. Of course who is to say the dog didn't find a bad of Fert at the neighbor's.

      I think this story is important to our industry because it will help keep us from being lazy about our chemicals. Common sense should be the first test given to anyone who applies chemical. But to my knowledge there is no test for common sense. Maybe that good, because I sure see a lack of Common sense in the world today.
